Fulfilling corporate and private garden maintenance contracts within the local community. Regular mowing, weeding, hoeing, pruning, tidying, shaping, planting and watering. One off landscaping are design projects are also undertaken.
Everyone taking part in this ‘real live’ work activity has the opportunity to achieve Nationally Recognised Qualifications awarded by City & Guilds / NPTC. Assessments are carried out by our own teaching staff in the natural work environment. Individuals are allowed to train and progress at their own pace. Tuition is mostly practical with numeracy and literacy embedded as routine. Help is available for those who require a little extra support. And, for those who have more complex needs one to one supoport can be provi
ded.
Attendance patterns can be arranged around other commitments e.g. college or social activities. Individuals may choose to attend any number of days from one day up to five days per week to suit their needs. Transport can be arranged subject to availability.
